However even though we are Hilton members it made no difference. If you book direct through Hilton which is a lot more expensive ,they give there guest better choice. Advice if you book through a travel agent this is what you may get. When we approached the front desk to complain ,it was all down to the discounted rooms that they give third party agents and therefore only allocate this type of room for these companies. If you were sat on the balcony all you could see at eye view was the wall. Our room had a concrete balustrade /wall which meant the views were restricted and you had to stand up to see the ocean. All the other floors had balustrade railings with uninterrupted views, which meant in those rooms you could sit on the balcony with views of the ocean and beyond. I booked this Hotel through a Travel agent and paid for a premium room with a balcony and ocean view.
